Easter Break 2016

This was our first year celebrating Easter in Wild Dunes with Ga & PapPaw, and it also coincided with the girls' Spring Break.  The girls searched high and low for their Easter baskets and Easter eggs, and the Easter Bunny did not disappoint!  Although it rained on Easter Sunday, the rest of the week was gorgeous.  A perfect week for the beach!  We played in the ocean, built sand castles, swam in the (freezing) swimming pool, rode our bikes and scooters to the Marina, played on the Isle of Palms playground, and visited with the Miars.  The week culminated in the Cooper River Bridge Run, marking over 10 years of running the race!

Arts Together's Art Walk 2016

Hattie has become quite the artist this year, spending every free minute drawing, coloring, painting, and creating mini masterpieces.  Her time as a Moon at Arts Together has made a huge impact on her love of art.  Every spring, Ms. Renee and the staff at Arts Together host "Art Walk."  This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and families to view the children's artwork in a gallery atmosphere.  Hattie was SO excited to showcase her work, including her "biography" and self portrait.  We are so proud of her!

2016 Spring Soccer: Go Grasshoppers!

The Spring 2016 CASL (Capital Area Soccer League) season began with a fun opening weekend.  All 8 girls on Clara's team returned from the Fall season, and they have become a close knit group.  Clara continues to LOVE all things soccer and has developed a knack for the game.  Ga and PapPaw were in town for the first game of the season, and Clara did not disappoint, even scoring a goal.  Even better, she score a Hat Trick the following weekend.  Go Grasshoppers!!
