UNC Women's Soccer - Good Causes

Kate and the girls have been supporting a UNC Womens's Soccer fundraising cause for a couple of years. They headed to Chapel Hill with the Parke's to see familiar faces (like Julia Ashley) and kick the ball around with the squad on a sunny day.

Dragons and Spirit - Soccer Season!

Fall soccer started, and do you think Hattie is excited about it?

She is. Hattie's first season is with the Dragons, a team composed largely of St. Timothy's friends and coached by Margot's dad Adam and Kate as assistant.

Clara has started with the Spirit. This time the Head Coach is...Kate! They went through a draft process early in the summer, keeping some key players from last season, losing a few, and picking up some new talent in the league. Everyone is excited about this new beginning!

School's Back in Session

Here we go! Year three at St. Timothy's School. Clara started fourth grade, and Hattie is now in first.

Kate Turns 40!

Kate turns 40! We celebrate with our low-key family event. The girls made sure Mama had plenty of balloons, hand-made cards, and (of course) the ice cream cake she loves so much.

No birthday is complete without a celebration at Cow Fish!

One of the highlights was the surprise visit that weekend from Auntie J-O-B! We caught Kate totally by surprise, and the two buds got to catch up over dinner and drinks in North Hills that night. 

The big trip - Kate and Paul both celebrating the milestone birthday - would only be a short month away...

Hattie on Horseback + Kristin Returns from Hospital

Hattie's enthusiasm for horses has not waned in the least bit. She has been asking for lessons, and we obliged. She loves these animals.

The same day Kristin made it back from the American Girl Doll hospital. This was Kate's doll back when, and the hospital fixed up the little ailments that built up over the years. This created a wave of new doll interest in Kristin.
