April Miscellany

Spirit Soccer in April

It was a busy month for Spirit Soccer. Coach Kate put together a 4v4 team for a tournament at WakeMed Park in Cary.

And we held the end of season award ceremony (even though we have some playing left to do). The Spirit had secured the regular season championship, and we were proud to give them well-deserved trophies for winning (NOT participation awards).

Dragon Soccer - April

Winning games only increases the enthusiasm for soccer. The Dragons have been killing it this season, and Hattie is getting revved up about the sport and being a good teammate. She's even dropping some inspirational quotes!

4th Grade Biography Night at the Museum

Each STS 4th grader researched an historical figure, prepared a short speech and designed a costume for Biography Night at the Museum. Family and friends walked through the hall in the evening and listened to the presentations. Clara was Davey Crocket and nailed the delivery!

Easter 2019

Back from the beach in time to celebrate Easter at home. Which starts, of course, with an egg hunt at home.

Then some pre-church pictures where the girls were in a silly mood.

But we snapped at a least a few nice pictures.

Another easter egg hunt at church...

And we finished up with an Easter Brunch with the Bakers.
