Clara's Poetry Reading - Shel Silverstein's "Sick"

Clara's first grade class had a poetry day as part of their end of year festivities. Each student picked a Shel Silverstein poem and performed their own dramatic recital. Clara picked Sick, and threw herself into the interpretation, memorizing it at home through many, many practices. Then she nailed it in class.

Grasshoppers Soccer - End of an Era

It was a fun two seasons with the Grasshoppers, and the girls finished strong. The team would disband after the season as many of the girls were ready to move on from Rec league, joining Challenge and Juniors teams. But these girls improved a lot during the time with coaches Laura and Kate, and we made great friends, too.
