Clara Breaks Her Wrist

As active as Clara is, we would think a broken wrist would come from soccer or the monkey bars on the playground or something like that. But no....this broken bone came from a trip over a cardboard box in the kitchen. Sigh.

Clara's 9th Birthday Party

We found it's hard to coordinate schedules for nine-year-old girls, so we had to wait nearly two weeks after Clara's birthday to celebrate with a party. But celebrate we did, in a way that was all Clara.

We started at our house with a birthday cake and song....

Then we hiked through the backyard, taking a shortcut through the woods to North Hills.

We played for an hour at (what Daddy calls) the adult jungle gym. The girls loved it!

Then off to Kilwin's for some ice cream:

And a spend the night party back home with Sophie and Caroline.

Clara's last year before real double-digits kick in....
