Off to France!

We packed the bags and headed to the airport for our long flight to France. We're going to cheer on the USWNT to victory in the World Cup.

The trip starts from Raleigh-Durham airport, down to Atlanta, and then overnight to Paris.

We did our best to sneak in a little shut-eye, but there were plenty of movies to entertain us if sleep didn't come easy.

Lyon, here we come!!

June Randomness

What a June! We stayed active....

Finished school and did a few camps...

Visit with Cousins

We stopped by Virginia for a quick visit with Grandma and the cousins. We also dropped off Luna to stay with Aunt Shannon and crew while the NC Drydens head out to France.

Hattie's XL Soccer Camp

This week was soccer camp for Hattie and many of her Dragon Teammates.

UNC Soccer Camp

Our third year of UNC Soccer Camp, and we were greeted by old friend Hannah Gardner. (Tending to a knee injury.)

The ladies managed through the heat and picked up a lot of new skills.

Here we have Clara modeling her UNC practice gear...

And look at this accolade. Clara is voted "Most Likely to Go Pro." From the place that knows a bit about sending women to professional teams!

Father's Day 2019

4v4 Tournament at WRAL

With Spirit's soccer season over - and with World Cup group play happening in the background - team Soccer Genome took to the pitch in a 4v4 tourney at the WRAL fields.

We tried taking some longer videos in this one to see if it helped with self-coaching afterwards. Clara liked it enough to ask us to buy equipment to film full games when next season rolls around.

The girls snuck away between games to watch the US Women play from the comfort of the Jacksons' airconditioned truck.

Since it was Fathers Day, we had a little celebration for the Dads....

Visit with Julia Ashley

Our superstar soccer pal, Julia Ashley, is back from playing the season in Sweden. We got to catch up with her in Chapel Hill.
