September Stuff

 

We finish September in style, with Hattie learning piano from Kate - chimpanzee style. 

Hattie and friend Margo come with Paul to get a haircut. 

Clara with Alexi and Samantha at an NCL charity event with the Durham Bulls.

The girls' art desks are all set up in the study.

We get to meet Pat & Alice's new daughter, Ren.

Kate and Clara were in South Carolina for a soccer tournament, which meant Paul and Hattie get some special one-on-one time. For dinner on Saturday night, Hattie picked Coquette ("some place fancy") and got adventurous by ordering frog legs off the menu.

Kate & Paul Celebrate 15 Year Anniversary in Virginia

 

Kate & Paul celebrate our 15 year anniversary. It's 5 weeks after the actual date, but this is when we could get away for a long weekend to The Tides in Irvington, Virginia...a gorgeous spot super close to the Chesapeake Bay. 

Ms. Carole stayed with Clara and Hattie. When we got home they surprised us with a special anniversary cake.
