ECNL Regional Tournament in Greensboro

This was a weird one. The girls made it to the championship match of the ECNL regional tournament and had their opponent 0-0 with time ticking of the clock. The other side broke through and Clara was forced to take on a forward 1v1. The girl made it to the box and was readying for a shot on goal when Clara broke out her patented slide tackle. It was text book. She got all ball! (As the video below shows.) But a sideline ref, who didn't even have a clear view of the play, called a foul. The resulting PK was good, and our Elite Team had to settle for second place.

A disappointing end to a tremendous season by these girls. They were regular season champs and will wear those t-shirts with pride.

Coach Megan was an amazing person to play for, and we hate to be moving on but Clara was offered a spot on the national ECNL team for next season.

Moving Day 🚚

We wanted to finish up the school year before moving into the new house. School ended this week, and the moving truck was on Lambeth Drive by Friday. Time for our new adventure on Lewis Farm Road.

Hattie's 5th Grade Awards Day 🏆

Hattie finished 5th grade in strong fashion, winning two STAR awards. She's knocked her first year of middle school out of the park and is now ready for a well-deserved summer break.
