Christmas Season Starts

Mid-ish November, and Christmas season is upon us. North Hills had its Christmas launch on November 19th, the Christmas tree is up, and we are rolling with it.

Thanksgiving, Monkey Bars and Front Flips

Now we know the season is upon us. Thanksgiving is here, Ga and Pappaw have come down, and the girls are on break.

To work up the appetite for the day, we get outside for some play. Hattie has been working on her monkey bar skills, eager to learn the famous two-bar routine. It has not come easy, but with practice...

The thrill of a new skill!

Thanksgiving Dinner, each of us saying what we're thankful for. Hattie loves having a captive audience.

Clara is also learning new skills. Check out what our "self-learner" taught herself on the trampoline. With a little practice, she's a front flipper:

Clara's Developing Soccer Skills - Soccer Genome + Caroline Games

Soccer Genome is a skills training thing with a local coach...Coach Norris. Clara is doing it with Lillian Parke from her soccer team, and she's loving it.

She and Lillian are comrades in arms as UNCW soccer fans. Every home game this fall gave them a chance to cheer on their girls, especially Hannah.

Clara & Kate Hunt, Paul & Hattie

Kate and Clara headed up north for a weekend of hunting at Camp [we need to get those pictures onto the blog :)], and Paul and Hattie stayed in Raleigh for a Daddy-Daughter weekend at home.

It started with Hattie joining Paul downtown at his office, and then going for Macaroons at a fancy cafe.

Of course there was a mani-pedi at home...

A performance of Frozen on the stage at North Hills...

Showing off our handiwork...

And Hattie teaches Daddy all about taking care of babies...

Running around Shelly Lake, hitting all the exercise stations...

And, of course, the ballet...
