Pool Project Progress

 

Not tons of obvious progress in June. It was more about moving filler material in and building engineered walls. But we're making progress....

Clara's Appalachian Service Project Week

 

Clara spent a week roughing it in eastern Tennessee as part of a school-sponsored Appalachian Service Project trip. It was tough work in not-so-comfortable conditions. The first night or two she wasn't sure about sticking it out. But she did. She worked through the discomfort and ended up having a great time. So proud of her!

Paul in Victoria, British Columbia

 

Paul took a trip to Victoria, British Columbia for the annual meeting of TINY, a holding company we own stock in.

The trip took him through Seattle, where he grabbed lunch with old Bandwidth boss, Cam McCrindle. Then he took a sea plane from Seattle's Lake Union to Victoria Inner Harbor. A video below of the landing on the harbor.

Deep Sea Fishing

Paul met up with Daniel Flowe, his son Jonas, and some of their friends in the Outer Banks for a camping and deep sea fishing adventure. Fish were caught.

Hattie's Lake Trip

 

Hattie and her ladies celebrated the end of 6th grade with a trip to Caroline's lake house. Fun was had in this wonderful way to starting off the summer. 

Hattie the Artist

 

Hattie has turned a spare room by the guest room into her art studio, a place she goes when she's inspired (or, sometimes, bored). She's pushing herself to try new techniques, often learned from Pinterest or YouTube. We've loved watching her apply herself to develop new skills...learn a craft.
