Thanksgiving 2017

Our Thanksgiving traditions are getting set. Ga and Pappaw joined us in Raleigh again, and we made all the tried-and-true favorites.

Clara re-enacts her famous Turkey day pose. We used to use it to gauge her growth year over year versus our turkey size. We missed a year or two, but we reinstate it now.

And get Hattie in on the action.

You can't stay cooped in all day, so we got outside to get rid of some energy. With everyone else on the Sac traveling for the holiday, we had free reign of backyards....including trampoline:

STS Kindergarten Thanksgiving Chapel

Hattie's kindergarten class performed all their Thanksgiving songs for us in the STS chapel.

Y Guides Fall Outing at Camp Kanata

Clara's third and final Fall Outing for The Flaming Eagles! We hit a cold spell with this Kanata visit with temperatures falling into the teens overnight and not rising much higher the next day. Needless to say, lake activities were out. In fact, the tribe bailed mid-morning on Saturday, opting out of the regular camp activities. Hey, we've done it two years in a row and who needs to be that cold all day?
