November 2021 Miscellany

Christmas Season Begins

We start with the tree lighting at North Hills, where Hattie gets her first glimpse of Santa Claus for the season.

We get the tree on Sunday, after getting back from Thanksgiving in Wild Dunes.

Clara does the honors of placing the angel atop the tree.

Hattie writes Santa Claus, and the Elf on the Shelf appears again.

Thanksgiving in Wild Dunes

Back to Wild Dunes for Thanksgiving, the only option now that our oven is on the fritz in Raleigh.

It's a beautiful few days, and we get to enjoy time on the beach. Video below of the girls performing their specially choreographed Thanksgiving beach dance...

Clara re-enacts her Turkey picture:

Look who's taller than her Mama....

Clara on STS Varsity Basketball Team

Clara tried out and made the St. Timothy's girls varsity basketball squad. Here's a video of her first score, dribbling to open space and taking the bank shot!
